Steve Jobs was perhaps the most creative and daring CEO s of all time.No one has endured as much heart break or enjoyed as much success as Steve Jobs.Jobs was a global icon that shaped the word of technology and media.For over 30 years computers,music,media and mobile phones were revolutionized by Steve Jobs.He was a brilliant visionary and a perfectionist.Jobs created one of the largest corporate companies in the world.Apple Inc with a market capitalization of more than $700 billion is the largest company in the world right now and its products have changed the way we communicate.




From A Garage to Global Supremacy

Steve Jobs was a very remarkable man.Those who were lucky enough to work with him describe him as extremely smart,spell binding and mesmerizing leader of people.Steve jobs was born in 1955 in San Francisco and was raised in its free wheeling culture of experimentation and innovation.During his teenage years he was fond of the Beatles and Bob Dylan.According to Robert Cringely who was Apple's 12th employee Jobs then 19 years old only ate fruit and was clearly a hippie.After his trip to India Jobs became Interested in what was then a new concept the Personal Computers.Jobs joined forces with Steve Wozniak and founded Apple Computers in his garage. Their first project was Apple 1.Meanwhile Steve jobs convinced an investor to invest  $90000 in the then growing company.This was exactly what the company needed.Their  second computer the Apple 2 was a huge success.When the Apple board of directors refused to give Steve the Lisa project which Steve thought would truly revolutionize the computer industry,he instead focus on a new project the Macintosh.

The impact of Macintosh was explosive when it was introduced in 1984,however the hype around the Macintosh failed to convert into sales and Steve position in the company came under scrutiny as he has cost the company a lot of  for this project.After a power struggle between Jobs and John Sculley Jobs left Apple.He was thrown out  own of his own company,Jobs however quickly regrouped and founded the new company NEXT.Jobs also bought shares in  a new company called PIXAR which would later become a house hold name in animation.Their first film the Toy Story became a huge success and was the highest grosser of 1995.When PIXAR went Public in 1995 Jobs became a billionaire.In a change of events Apple which due to its plummeting sales bought PIXAR in a deal worth over $400 million and Jobs was made the interim CEO.This marked the event which began on of the biggest turnaround in the history of corporate America.Microsoft founder Bill Gates invested $150 million in the company.Apples New product under Jobs the i Mac was a huge success with over 6 million units sold.Next he introduced to the world the iPOD in October 2001 and the iPhone in 2007 which both changed the world of music and the cell phones.With over 350 million units of iPODs sold since its release it has become one of Apples biggest product topped only by iPhone perhaps.
