  • Mitchell Starc was the highest wicket taker of the tournament.He took 22 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 10.18 and a strike rate of 17.40.His best bowling figures came against New Zealand where he took 6 wickets for 28 runs.

  • Kumar Sangakara achieved a unique feat of scoring four consecutive hundreds against Bangladesh,England,Australia and Scotland.He amassed a total of 541 runs from 7 matches at an average of 108.20 with a highest score of 124.
