The war of 1965 was fought between Pakistan and India over Kashmir in September 1965.The war lasted for 17 days and claimed thousands of lives on both sides.The war finally ended after 17 days of fighting after both the superpowers USA and USSR used significant domestic tools to end the conflict as they feared that it could draw other powers in the conflict.
